Think that everyone's doing drugs & drinking?

...Or that smoking pot is OK?

...or that getting drunk is no big deal?

maybe that's what other kids say.

But, it's not really true.

Get the facts. Live above the influence.

Myth:      Using drugs and alcohol is a way to "let off steam" and relieve stress.  It makes me feel better.

Reality:   If you are feeling stressed, you need to address that issue straight-on.  Using drugs and alcohol only covers up the issue and will end up making you feel worse.  If you are feeling weighed down by pressures and don't know what to do - get help.  Get immediate help by calling 1-800-448-3000 (24 hours day/7 days/week).

Myth:      Marijuana is harmless.

Reality:   If you are under the age of 25, your brain is still developing!  Smoking pot actually changes your BRAIN and results in learning and memory problems, and even IQ loss.  In addition, regular marijuana use carries a significant increased risk for developing severe mental illness, such as schizophrenia.
